Privacy Policy – ADEM YouTube Agent Platform (YouTube API Services)

1. Controller

2. What this application is

The ADEM YouTube Agent Platform is an internal tool of ADEMs GmbH used only for YouTube channels owned or operated by ADEMs GmbH and its artists. This application uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing it, the channel owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Data accessed through the YouTube API Services

  • Channel data: channel ID, title, description, subscriber, video and view counts, upload playlist.
  • Video data: video IDs, titles, descriptions, tags, publish date, privacy status, duration, view/like/comment counts.
  • Comments and comment threads on our own channels: comment ID, text, author display name, publish date, like and reply counts.
  • YouTube Analytics reports of our own channels: views, watch time, average view duration, subscribers gained/lost, countries, traffic sources and per-video metrics (aggregated; no data about individual viewers).

4. Purpose

The data is used only internally by ADEMs GmbH to monitor the performance of its own channels, to plan and prepare content, to prepare replies to comments for human review and – after explicit approval by the channel owner – to upload videos, update titles, descriptions and thumbnails, schedule publications and reply to or moderate comments on these channels. The data is not used for advertising profiles and is never sold.

5. OAuth and credentials

Access is granted by the channel owner through Google OAuth 2.0. We never see or store YouTube or Google login passwords. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in our self-hosted automation system (n8n) on our own infrastructure in Germany and are used only for the channel that granted them.

6. Storage and retention

API data is stored in our self-hosted database in Germany. Stored API data is refreshed regularly; API data that has not been refreshed for 30 days is deleted automatically. Analytics reports are kept for up to 30 days. Technical call logs (endpoint, time, status, quota usage) are kept for up to 60 days.

7. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share API data with third parties. Data is processed only by technically necessary service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. hosting and IT infrastructure) under data processing agreements. Comments of third parties are processed only to manage the communities of our own channels.

8. Revoking access and deletion

The channel owner can revoke access at any time via the Google security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation no further data is accessed. Deletion of all stored API data can be requested at info@adembogoceli.com and is carried out within 7 days. Data subjects (e.g. commenters) can exercise their rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, complaint to a supervisory authority) using the contact details above.

9. Legal basis

Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in managing our own YouTube channels) and, for the channel owner, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (OAuth consent).

Was ist die Anwendung? Ein internes Werkzeug der ADEMs GmbH ausschließlich für eigene YouTube-Kanäle. Die Anwendung nutzt die YouTube API Services. Es gelten die YouTube-Nutzungsbedingungen und die Google-Datenschutzerklärung.

Gelesene Daten: Kanaldaten (ID, Titel, Beschreibung, Abonnenten-, Video- und Aufrufzahlen), Videodaten (IDs, Titel, Beschreibungen, Tags, Veröffentlichungsdatum, Sichtbarkeit, Dauer, Statistiken), Kommentare und Kommentar-Threads auf eigenen Kanälen (Text, Anzeigename des Autors, Datum, Likes/Antworten), YouTube-Analytics-Berichte eigener Kanäle (aggregiert: Aufrufe, Wiedergabezeit, durchschnittliche Wiedergabedauer, Abonnenten +/-, Länder, Traffic-Quellen, Werte je Video; keine Daten einzelner Zuschauer).

Zweck: ausschließlich interne Nutzung durch die ADEMs GmbH: Performance eigener Kanäle, Planung und Vorbereitung von Inhalten, Vorbereitung von Kommentar-Antworten zur menschlichen Prüfung sowie – nur nach ausdrücklicher Freigabe des Kanalinhabers – Upload, Titel-/Beschreibungs-/Thumbnail-Änderung, Planung von Veröffentlichungen und Antwort/Moderation von Kommentaren. Kein Verkauf, keine Werbeprofile.

OAuth: Der Zugriff wird vom Kanalinhaber über Google OAuth 2.0 erteilt. YouTube-/Google-Passwörter werden weder gesehen noch gespeichert. Tokens liegen verschlüsselt in unserem selbst betriebenen Automationssystem (n8n) in Deutschland.

Speicherung: in unserer selbst betriebenen Datenbank in Deutschland; regelmäßige Aktualisierung; nicht aktualisierte API-Daten werden nach 30 Tagen automatisch gelöscht; Analytics-Berichte höchstens 30 Tage; technische Aufruf-Protokolle höchstens 60 Tage.

Weitergabe: keine Weitergabe und kein Verkauf an Dritte, außer an technisch notwendige Dienstleister (Auftragsverarbeitung).

Widerruf und Löschung: Zugriff jederzeit widerrufbar unter https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Löschung aller gespeicherten API-Daten auf Anfrage an info@adembogoceli.com innerhalb von 7 Tagen. Betroffenenrechte nach DSGVO (Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Widerspruch, Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde) über die obigen Kontaktdaten.

Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an der Verwaltung eigener Kanäle), für den Kanalinhaber Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (OAuth-Einwilligung).
